Terms and Conditions for Poppy Cleaning Service
1. Introduction These terms and conditions govern the relationship between Poppy Cleaning Service ("we", "us", "our") and the users ("you", "your", "client") of our services. By using our services, you accept these terms and conditions in full.
2. Service Agreement When you book a cleaning service with Poppy Cleaning Service, you are entering into a contract by which you:
Agree to provide access to your property at the stipulated date and time for the cleaning service.
Agree to provide a safe working environment for our personnel.
Confirm that you have the right to use the services for the property (e.g., you are the owner or have obtained the necessary permissions).
3. Pricing and Payment
Prices for cleaning services are as stipulated on our website or as agreed upon during the booking.
Payments are due upon completion of the cleaning service.
In the case of recurring services, payments will be due as per the agreed-upon schedule.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule your booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled service time without incurring any fee.
Cancellations or rescheduling within 48 hours of the scheduled service time may incur a fee.
5. 24-hour Warranty
If you are not satisfied with the cleaning service provided, you must inform us within 24 hours of service completion. We will arrange a re-cleaning of your property free of charge.
6. Referral Program
Clients can earn one free cleaning service for every ten referrals that result in a booking or after ten completed services by the referred client.
7. Limitation of Liability
Poppy Cleaning Service is not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages or losses, including loss of earnings.
We are not responsible for any damage or loss of items that are not secured properly or that were identified as fragile or valuable when the cleaning was booked.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. All client information is kept strictly confidential.
9. Applicable Law These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the state of California.
10. Disputes Any disputes arising out of the use of our services will be addressed in the jurisdiction of the state of California.
11. Changes to the Terms We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes.

Exclusionary Service Policy (or "Scope Limitation Policy")
At Poppy Cleaning Service, we strive to provide the best and most comprehensive cleaning solutions for our clients. However, to ensure the safety of our staff and to maintain our high standard of service, there are certain tasks and areas that are outside of our default service offerings:
Hazardous Material Handling: We do not handle or dispose of hazardous materials, including but not limited to bio-hazards, sharp objects, harmful chemicals, or any substances deemed dangerous.
Heavy Lifting: Our staff is not trained for heavy lifting. Items exceeding a certain weight, usually 30 pounds, will not be moved.
High Areas: We avoid areas that require a ladder or are deemed potentially dangerous due to height.
Exterior Windows: Only interior window cleaning is included in our default services.
Animal Cleanup: We don’t handle pet excrement, including litter boxes, cages, or any other form of animal waste.
Mold Removal: Our team is not trained or equipped to handle mold remediation. It's recommended to hire specialized services for such tasks.
Pest Infestations: If an area is found to have a pest problem, including but not limited to insects, rodents, or other vermin, it will be excluded from cleaning until the issue is professionally addressed.
Deep Stain Removal: While we attempt to clean all surfaces to the best of our ability, some deep-set stains may require specialized treatment and may not be completely removable with standard cleaning methods.
Specialized Equipment Cleaning: Any equipment or areas requiring specialized training or equipment (e.g., certain electronics, industrial machines) are outside our standard scope.
Outside Areas: Our default service does not include outdoor spaces such as patios, balconies, and garages unless explicitly mentioned.
It's essential to note that while these tasks and areas are outside our standard offerings, some may be negotiable or available at an additional charge upon prior agreement. Clients are encouraged to discuss any specific needs or concerns before service to ensure clarity and satisfaction.
